A WordPress Tool Adding AI Infrastructure Directly Into Pricing
Kadence WP updated its pricing structure this week in a way that signals where the WordPress plugin market is heading. Rather than offering AI features as a separate add-on, Kadence has integrated AI credits directly into every plan tier — from the entry-level Express plan through to the Lifetime Ultimate bundle.
The Ultimate Plan includes 8,000 AI credits per year, while the Lifetime Ultimate plan includes 16,000 AI credits as a one-time allocation. An AI Page Generator is listed as a coming soon feature, further expanding capabilities.
This is a meaningful structural decision. Kadence is not treating AI as a premium upsell. It is treating it as table stakes — something every plan includes by default, scaled by tier. This approach positions Kadence competitively against Elementor and GeneratePress in a market where the question “does your tool do AI?” is increasingly the first one buyers ask.

There are four pricing plans available for Kadence Pro Theme Addon: Theme Kit Pro at $99 per year, Plus at $169 per year, Ultimate at $299 per year, and a Lifetime option.
The Lifetime Ultimate plan is priced at $899 for 25 sites and $999 for 1,000 sites. It includes Kadence Theme Pro, Kadence Blocks Pro, Shop Kit, Conversions, Pattern Hub, and all future Kadence products.
For agencies managing multiple client sites, the Lifetime Ultimate bundle at $999 for 1,000 sites is the number that matters. Amortised across even 50 active client sites over three years, the per-site cost becomes negligible — and the inclusion of all future products means the bundle value compounds over time as Kadence adds features.
